Gioia Turns 1!

Happy 1st Birthday Gioia!

It happens every time, but I seriously feel like I just had her in the studio doing her newborn photos. Then again for 6 month pictures, and now the big 1! I mean seriously, look at this girl over the past year!

Her Mom always lets me use my creativity to come up with her sets and I FOREVER love her for it (among other reasons :-))! If you have booked a milestone session with me, you know I love to keep my sets simple, classic, timeless and all about the baby. I think these two backdrops are the perfect combination of classic girly FUN! I always love my bone colored backdrop and then adding props and decor. Once we added the sequence backdrop for the cake smash, it just helped to bring the FUN! Enjoy these photos of Gioia celebrating her first birthday milestone. We laughed, we played, we had a blast and best of all…we had CAKE! Happy 1st birthday baby girl, I can’t wait to watch you grow!

J+C Graduate GMU

Jamie + Cassie Graduate Gwynedd Mercy University!

I was so stinking excited with Jamie asked me if I would photograph her and her twin sister Cassie’s, graduation photos. These girls are family after all, so I was very much looking forward to capturing this milestone for them. The girls wanted these photos taken on campus. We had so much fun walking around their school and showing me different areas of their home, for the last 4 years.

Seriously, so many freaking adorable spots on this campus!

Feinstein Maternity

Baby F, we are waiting for you!

As most of you know, newborn photography is a lot of what I do. In the months following a newborn session, you might find me photographing some more big moments along the way. I am doing milestone sessions, such as 4 months, 6 months and the most exciting…the 1 year session. Sometimes, a family session thrown in there as well. The 1 year milestone session is so fun, and usually involves smashing a cake. Seriously though, what is more adorable than a toddler smashing a cake?! Thats right, we went from newborn to toddler in 12 little months.

Before all of these milestones and baby sweetness, it all starts with a maternity session. Being a mother myself, maternity sessions have such a special place in my heart. Trust me when I say, this time deserves to be documented. If i’m being totally honest, I didn’t appreciate this time in my own life, until it had past. At the time, I had no idea the amount of love my heart was capable of handling. I had no idea it would be possible, to go for such long stretches of getting zero sleep. I had no idea that motherhood could make me so unbelievably happy, yet totally understand 2007 Brittney Spears, all in 1 day. I also, never thought about how this would be the very last time it would be just us…just my husband and I. I’m happy to report, during my next pregnancy, I made the time to get some maternity photos and I will forever cherish them.

Dana already had a newborn session booked with me, I was so happy she decided to add on a maternity session. I always love getting to meet my soon to be parents, before the little bundle of joy arrives. We talked about their future plans, nursery progress and how very excited they are for baby F! They are in the final weeks of it only being Dana + Marc and they are beyond excited! Dana and I went back and forth with wardrobe ideas and her choices were beautiful and she looked stunning! Marc told her that himself during our session and seriously, does it get any sweeter? I wish these two a lifetime of happiness as their family grows. I can’t wait to see them soon and capture their sweet little man!

Welcome Baby Dunbar

Newborn sessions have my heart and soul! This was such a sweet session for this little girl. Fun fact, these photos were all compliments of my own traveling mini studio. Despite starting to work out of my own studio in 2018, it was always so important to me that I offer the option to travel to clients homes. Coming home with a baby, especially if it’s your first baby can be scary and overwhelming. The very last thing you want to stress about, is getting to a photography studio. Also, I swear it took me like four months to EVER get out of the door on time with my first baby!

Not all newborns are easy to photograph, but this little lady was a dream. I mean seriously, just look at that eye contact! She was the perfect mixture between sound asleep for the posed shots, but also made sure to look right at the camera for her Mom and Dad! Her Mom was very particular about utilizing earth tones and I couldn’t love her selection more! Their house was absolutely beautiful and these images will go perfectly with their home rustic decor!
